"Worth every penny!"Robin Gibson, the SHAREcroppers farmer, is tremendously dedicated and it shows in her production and her attention to detail. This is our second year as shareholder in the farm and we are just as delighted as ever, despite an extremely dry and hot summer. 99% of the time the vegetables and herbs we receive are in top condition and taste amazing... Highly recommended. more

What is Community Supported Agriculture? (CSA)CSA is a way to reconnect families and individuals with the farms in their local communities. Considering that most produce in our country travels about 1,300 miles while our own neighborhood farms are often unable to survive, CSA is a refreshing commitment to local agriculture. CSA members support the farm by buying a share of the year's harvest. Members pay for their share in advance, providing capital for operating expenses such as seeds, compost, utilities, greenhouse supplies, etc. When the harvest begins, members come to the farm once a week and pick up their share. SHAREcroppers Farm CSA
SHAREcroppers Farm is a small "farmette" in Upstate SC with naturally grown heirloom vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fresh eggs. We offer full and half shares for the summer harvest and for the shorter fall harvest. Try us and see why our produce has been supported and savored by the Upstate community since 2006.
